Beloved Ghouls “Terrorized”

OCTOBER 30, 2020 – Once a year, Beloved Ghouls, a supergroup composed of Derrick Green of Sepultura, Dave Lombardo of Slayer, Gary Holt of Slayer and Exodus come together to make music. This Halloween, they are sharing their new song “Terrorized” just in time for the frights of the holiday to kick in.

Produced by the legendary Ross Robinson (Korn, Glassjaw, The Blood Brothers, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit), and mixed by Steve Evetts (Every Time I Die, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Lifetime, Saves The Day), “Terrorized” features additional ghouls Jason Schimmel and Jeff Johnson with guest vocals from Jeremy Bolm of Touché Amoré.

Proceeds from the song will benefit Save Our Stages.

“Beloved Ghouls are all lifers who live to give back to the music that gave us all so much,” explains Robinson. “Hopefully this track resonates for you like it did for each of us while making it. Just laughing and being fully stoked while swimming in our thrash metal, roots… we are all excited to donate to Save Our Stages, it’s such an important cause. We must work to keep our music venues alive.”

“It brought me an over whelming amount of joy to collaborate with friends and colleagues who I have great admiration for to create such a kick ass song,” says Derrick Green. “Truly a remarkable experience that I’m thankful to be a part of.”

Tickets are now on sale at http://stevesototributeconcert.veeps.com

All proceeds of ticket sales go to NITO – National Independent Talent Organization and Save Our Stages- National Independent Venue Association (NIVA). Their mission is to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of independent live music venues and promoters throughout the United States. Because of the global pandemic, independent music venues are dangerously close to closing permanently. It is vital congress passes the #RestartAct, which includes a new loan program to provide funding to cover 6 months of payroll, benefits, and fixed operating expenses for businesses that have taken a substantial revenue hit during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Steve Soto Tribute Concert is being put on by Free Mason Productions. The production company of Cathy Mason, a 20-year lifer in the punk scene, Mason has managed tours and productions for a myriad of rock bands including Lagwagon, Bad Religion and Rancid. She even did a stint working with SideOneDummy in her early days. In 2010, Ms Mason began running all production for Punk Rock Bowling, the famed music festival and bowling tournament hosted in Las Vegas.

“I really want everybody that’s been hit by this to be taken care of,” Mason says. “We’ve lost all of our income, we lost everything we’ve known about our lives. If I can help anyone pay their rent for the month, it will make a difference. Now is the time we really should be taking care of each other.”

It’s not about the biggest bands or revenue-it’s about the community rallying around what brought them together in the first place.
